the streets in sunset park are narrow...as a backup LCC in 114 we were taught to place the inboard outrigger between two legally parked cars..
we would then pull the outboard outrigger out far enough so the turntable could turn...caution was always used
it has been mentioned here before that in situations like this car parked on a hydrant instead of taking the cars windows for the supply line a summons be issued and have the car towed by the nypd....so was the car towed by the nypd?
still no deterent for parking on hydrants seems to be working
from what i remember the 12th division were housed in 242 then 330/172 then for some reason i believe they might have returned to 242 before being disbanded
the 12th div consisted of the 33 40 42 43 48 batt.
after the 12th div was disbanded the 33 went to the 15th div and the 48 went to the 11th div
criminals scofflaws etc will be protected by this administration...taking the cars side windows and passing supply lines through them will be more of a deterrent than a summons will be.
early to mid 80s...
right around the same time the women had the physical requirements lowered.
the scaling ladder evolution...
you would have to straddle the window sill and raising the scaling ladder to the window above required upper body strength
just found it coincidental
ok....then place a ladder co there....either way that area is now heavily occupied with no fire protection on the island itself
actually a double house would be the best.
