I remember a few years ago there where Hammer teams in Manhattan, can remember if it was CityWide. I think it was a crew of 2 FD members and 2 PD ESU. Don't know if they had rigs or not. Does anyone know if there still around or have any info on what they did?
yes. They've been there for a couple of years. They moved when their firehouse was being reconditioned, but it would have been too costly so they where kept at 18's permanently.
I was wondering what Kind of signaling is used on the Handie-Takies, (ie MDC 1200, MDC 600 etc.) Also what is the signaling ID for the VHF Handie-Talkies, the ones that go to the dispatcher.
Thanks for any help
I heard companys over the HT last night talking about a fire in the holland tunnel. Marine 6 was calling units in the tunnel, division was there and everything. Ive been looking around but dont see any posts about a fire in the tunnel. Was it a drill or the real thing. Thanks
I saw an aide with a normal HT but on the holder case it said MDT. and the radio had a screen. does it show the units and CIDS and everything that is on the normal MDT on the screen?
