The Lower East Side may not do the fire duty we once did...but the spirit certainly lives on. Just attended a luncheon/reunion down here....40 guys spanning every decade from the 60's on up well represented. Amazing to see guys I worked with some 45 odd years ago. One of my proby classmates was there....we toasted our upcoming 50 year anniversary. Old bastard...lol. Great stories and great men!
