Fire in 2 adjoining apartments on the 3rd floor? It went to the floor above, yes, but did it autoexpose to the apt next to it via fire escape window or through the apartment wall?
 
The daycares in every other building in certain areas of the city is part of the nationwide daycare scams. Started over 20 years ago in NYC. Passed some BS legislation. Raise the funds for it through increased taxes. Throw insane amounts of money at it. Friends of politicians get paid from the ridiculous Money being used for the program.
Those people kick back to politicians. Rinse and repeat.

Years ago when this started they were putting the daycares in the projects. We were to go out and take look at them and update cids to reflect their location. Started slowly. Daycare in an apartment here and there. Within a few months the tsunami of daycares rolled in. Numerous buildings with numerous daycares on numerous apartments on the same floors with no kids in the apartments. CIDS couldn’t handle all the individual apartments that were in each building

One of the first things Mamdani did she took office was increase this program. In spite of the news breaking out in Minnesota about the rampant fraud in these programs.
