I had a fatal house fire in neighbours house in April. First attendance (FDNY 1st Alarm). brought three pumps. A make pumps 6 and an Ariel brought 3 extra pumps and a Combined Platform Ladder ( FDNY Tower Ladder).

On arrival Make Pumps 10, then 20 finally 40.
4 turntable ladders including 64 metre (209 feet) ones. 7 Fire Rescue Units. Similar as on this site, difficult to get staff car identities. People know them but keep them to themselves.
Good luck to the new Commissioner he will need it. Seems he qualified for the position by chasing the fire engine on his bike when he was a child. Out of the frying pan into the fire seems to come to mind.
