Does anyone have any suggestions for websites, study textbooks, study courses, or anything else in between that will be a great study tool...

And with the large majority of those runs being EMS and non-fire/emergency runs, not sure how much adding more companies would help. If anything, more ambulances are definitely needed. Just figured I’d share my 2 cents.

Charts - Growing Impact of FDNY CFR Runs on Engine Companies

In my opinion, I don't think its more engine companies that are needed but more ambulances and EMS personnel. This would help with the problem that often occurs now, where the engines are tied up for a bit waiting for a bus. Especially in this day and age where fires are decreasing and EMS runs...

    4/3/23 Queens 10-75 Box 6499

If you think about it this way, most of the area is more suburban with less traffic, so I'm sure in most cases they fly once there on the road. Probably takes just as long as some companies in Manhattan, who are much closer but have to deal with the hectic city traffic.
