In my opinion, I don't think its more engine companies that are needed but more ambulances and EMS personnel. This would help with the problem that often occurs now, where the engines are tied up for a bit waiting for a bus. Especially in this day and age where fires are decreasing and EMS runs...
If you think about it this way, most of the area is more suburban with less traffic, so I'm sure in most cases they fly once there on the road. Probably takes just as long as some companies in Manhattan, who are much closer but have to deal with the hectic city traffic.
Of course, the new 360-degree camera is a great addition, but it makes me think "Big brother is always watching!". Its only the beginning of what our future has in store.
