    FDNY Rigs circa 1968

I like the grill mods on the Dodge to fit the bell and siren on the bumper! Also notice in one pic to the left a VW Karmann Ghia not a car you see anymore. When I lived at home next door to us were 2 brothers who had their own band. I was probably 10 or so and they were maybe 10 years older...

    FDNY Rigs circa 1968

Nice pictures! Good rear view of Satellite 3 and the SP in one photo. Also the picture of Richmond Engine 1 to the left I believe was a garden shop at one time. My dad went there pretty often in the summer and I remember being in there many times. No Home Depot then. Does anyone recall the name...

    6/26/22 Brooklyn 3rd Alarm Box 2634

More batteries from these E bikes? These things are really getting to be a public safety issue. But I guess its ok when it goes along with the city administration's plans. Whats a few buildings and some casualties? Of course I'm only guessing at what caused it but we'll see.

Looking at the picture from the rear of the fire building they did a great job keeping it from really getting out of hand. The wind was over 20mph today. This really could have been a much worse situation, the FDNY does its best work in the worst conditions. Well done men!

Some of them can't shoot straight anyway. I found that out at the range seeing it myself and I'm no Carlos Hathcock btw.

    Everything Old Is New Again

Years ago in downtown Brooklyn by Old Fulton St in Dumbo there was a garage where I believe they repaired patrol cars. I worked there a few times and once I remember they had an early '70s Fury in the original colors in the repair garage. I also saw it parked outside once or twice. I'm sure it...
