    Eng. 206 was one of the last engine companies to have 2 pieces of apparatus. A Deputy in the 11th Div. saw to that. I think that they were a 7 man company at that time because out OT went up quite a bit when they were moved to the 28 Batt. from the 35.

    Frank was a fireman in Eng. 209 and possibly Ladder 102, a lieutenant in Engine 222 and a captain down Ralph Ave in Engine 227. A good boss to work under.

    B.C. Harry Coughlin was acting B.C. many times while Captain of Engine 277. He was known as 2 and 2 Harry because he didn't want a Deputy Chief on the scene. One, two, or three floors of fire were all treated the same, 2 Engines and 2 Trucks at work. Excellent boss to work for.

    Queens 4000 numbered boxes along Wycoff Ave. from Halsey St. to Putnam Ave. and a few St. Nicholas Ave. boxes near Myrtle Ave. have all original first alarm units responding from Brooklyn. Ladder 140 would be fast truck on some of those boxes and the first Queens unit to respond.
