This is been going on for like 2 weeks or more almost every night, you would think something should have been done by now to rectify the situation instead of having units 10-5 transmissions over & over
Not a dispatcher. from what I'm aware, Deputies respond on confirmed 10-75's or All Hands-Doubtful, they get a mark on every All Hands though, occasionally will respond to All Hands-Under Control
After Bn. 2 asked for the 10-76, Div. 1 told dispatch "instead of the 10-76, make it a 10-75 & give me a 2nd Alarm" perhaps the dispatcher didn't copy that transmission or proceeded with the 10-76 per protocol ?
Guessing that this came as a result of the Staten Island 4 Alarm fire where the members were injured in a wind impacted fire.
It basically gives the responding companies a heads up to use extra caution while operating under windy conditions.
