Sounds like this one will be a lemon. Ladder 19 RM broke off some years back. I know this because L40 received a RM and when the crew didn't like it, it was sent to replace L19's rig.

Just a thought With the boom happening in East Harlem and the expected 2nd ave subway, do you think FDNY would add a ladder company to Eng 91. Ladder 43 moved in with Engine 53 and recently Eng 36 was disbanded.
