Right around the corner from 46/27s former quarters. It can be seen in some of the videos. Their former home box. If all available, assignment on the All Hands would be 46 42 88 45 75 27 38 58F 33 Bn 18, 19 48 92 50 56 44 19 Bn 17

WOOSTER ST FIRE & COLLAPSE 2-14-58.

You may be reading that incorrectly. Companies listed on the first line of the 2-2 are those companies that responded on the 2nd; those on the the following line are companies that relocated to units operating at the fire. In those days relocators never responded to the same incident as the...

I wonder if 96 and 81 passed each other on 233rd Street on their way to relocating.

1/20/25 Bronx All Hands Box 3531

Same question. 88/38 3d or 4th due right across Mosholu Pkwy. 63/39 usually invited to this area on a postcard. I'm sure just other stuff going on at the same time.

Long haul for 63. 88 a half mile closer. Guess they were out also when the run came in?

    BLACK SUNDAY 1-23-05.

I recall lying in bed late that sleepy Sunday morning with my old computer logged into TheBravest.com, listening to the FDNY Bronx feed. The run came in for Andrews Avenue, all the responding companies very familiar to me. Much voice communications for what was obviously a tough job. And then...

    1/15/25 Bronx 4th Alarm Box 3740

E38 was never assigned anywhere near 3d due at this box. As I said, third or fourth alarm for them. I don't know what Barb would have to do with this. I agree that Barb messed things up in a lot of instances, but not in this case. That E38 was assigned third due was just an indication of a lot...

    1/15/25 Bronx 4th Alarm Box 3740

That was my point. Must have been a lot going on for E38 to be assigned 3d due. I'm guessing but they probably wouldn't go until the third or fourth alarm.

    1/15/25 Bronx 4th Alarm Box 3740

Must have been a lot of stuff going on at the same time. E38 third due? Many companies out of sequence...43, 75, 79, 95, 52, 88, 62, etc. Same with the truck companies. Queens companies taking up residence in the Bronx these days.

    12/22/2024 Manhattan All Hands 10-77 Box 1945

My high school was over at Lincoln center. Never had much to do with the east side. So if Manhattan companies "respond" via the subway is there equipment available on the island for them to man, like for governors Island? Just curious how this operates.

I went to high school in Manhattan. Never heard of a subway to welfare Island. What did I miss?
