What ever happened to Rescue 1 getting a new house?

There have been a lot of fires recently in Queens. Some seem close in proximity on the same day. Have any of them been labeled suspicious? Just wondering.

Still no word on Rescue 1's proposed new house? Last I read in one of these posts was they had a site that wouldn't be available for 2 years. I think it has been past the 2 year mark already.

FDNY Engine 287/Ladder 136 and battalion 46 old house and hopefully soon to be their brand new one.

Drove by today. Spaces for the trucks seem tight. Wonder why they are putting in the separations

Was that location approved? I thought I read somewhere that it was not approved and they are still looking for a temporary location.

Does the city have the locations for new rescue houses picked yet? I remember seeing a thread a while ago regarding Rescue 1. I believe it stated that the property wouldn't be available for a couple of years. It may have been that long since I saw the thread.
