Always the issue on the south shore. Takes a while for the relocated units to get there from Bk. Seems there is no solution to that issue either

Everytime there is a job in SI, south Brooklyn always loses a lot of coverage between chiefs and trucks. Leaves trucks and chiefs with massive response areas back in BK.

How come they sent an engine to relocate to a squad company?

I saw that the fdny used to use highway response vehicles. What was the purpose of them and why did they fdny stop using them?
