B-21: Water on the fire, fire is darkening down. - 00:05

Both SI all hands would usually get Bn 21 and Bn 22 if available.


Regardless of which SI battalions responded to which fires, this is the argument for another SI Bn - there are only 3 battalions to cover an island of 500,000.  Also is reason for a SI squad (ability to redirect a SI squad to a second incident).  Squad 1 is 20 miles away from SI incidents. 

SI does not have the resources to handle two 10-75s or multiple alarms at the same time, and is dependent on available units from Brooklyn or other boros which take a long time to get where needed.  Outside help is also dependent on congested bridges and heavy traffic.
