Cool article.

As far as CIDS, on the Water Street side it looks like 5 stories even though top of lower windows can be seen. Has small set of steps to enter building.
The grade slopes to rear at FDR side where full 6 stories are observed.

That building stood vacant for some time. Surprised it made it through the arson waves back in day

There’s a throat in the rear on the South Street side. If I remember correctly that used to be an abused women’s shelter.

When I drove 18 truck, we used to respond to the rear to get positioning - would drive down to the FDR Drive to get to that spot. 15 Engine and Batt 4 would go straight down Pitt Street and wonder what we were doing! Lol

Plus responding down Pitt/Montgomery Street made that turn onto Water Street almost impossible.
