1-9-2009  Lt Kevin Kelley, L 26, BFD, was killed returning from an EMS run when the brakes of L 26 failed going down a steep hill.

I've watched that series of episodes with the BFD and Lt. Kelley, looks like he loved the job - learned after watching it that he passed. RIP

I remember that incident.

Within a few years, I believe a similar incident happened in Waterbury, Ct killing a member of a Ladder Co there also.
