L80: Transmit a 10-75 for 1157 Castleton Ave, L79 came up and has smoke from the building, 3 story MD, commercial on the 1st floor!

Division 8: At Box 516, 11, we have a 3 story MD 30x50, we have fire on the 1st floor in the store.  Main body of fire has been knocked down, searches in the apartments above are in progress, we're going to stay Doubtful Will Hold.  At this time we have Engs. 155, 157, L79, L80, L83 the FAST Truck, Rescue 5, Battalion 22, Division 8, and I believe you have Squad coming in.  We also have E163 on the scene and we're holding L86.

  Damn, normally 1st due E156 was sent to a stove fire in the projects. ??? Also note that both jobs were just 2 blocks from each other.
 
I think that address is right down the block from the quarters of L79.

There was a 4th alarm at that same box back around 1969-1970... a furniture warehouse & it was roaring.  I was there as an Aux. riding with E241.  Anyone remember it?
