100+ pre merger ems pictures found

Thanks Zack for posting those old NYC EMS photos. I have a few myself, not asmany as this, but various types of rigs etc. Someday, I'll learn how to post them.

Looking at some of the pre-merger pictures, I noticed that the medics wearing white shirts typically had some sort of badging on their left chest.  is this individual badges plus awards earned?

Yes, they wore their badge and unit citations, pre-hospital saves and baby delivery bars.
 
Since the merger, were all of the paramedics and EMT's issued a different type of badge?  If so, where would I find a picture?  Thanks!

They were finally issued badges about 2 years ago. Can't help on a pic though.
