Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) were alerted to a fire at a building in Boucher Retail Park around 0420 on the morning of the 16th of November. On arrival crews encountered a large developing fire in the Poundstretcher unit of Boucher Retail Park.
Crews worked throughout the morning to prevent the spread of the fire to the adjoining unit although some fire and smoke damage extended to a some of the other units. A total of 17 fire appliances and 85 NIFRS personnel were in attendance at the height of the blaze. An investigation will be carried out in to the cause of the fire.
