GBVFD Drone, Fantastic ! What a Terrific Idea on the part of the G-Beach Vollies.
As we can see from the Drone Vid., there were several different Brush Fires Burning, (10-41?)
thus the confusion regards Location.
Having grown-up, (or at least Older), in that area, some insight:
The North Half of the 'Marine Park Salt Marsh Trail' / Gerritsen Inlet, the Ave.U Side, (Top of Map),
is technically, and usually known as 'Marine Park'.
On the West Side, (left on Map), North of Ave.X/Allen Ave. (Playground-Lower Left) is considered
Marine Park, South of that is Gerritsen Beach.
Then, across 'The Creek' to the East, (East of Mau-Mau Island) Flatbush Ave Side, (Right Side Map)
we have 'Marine Park Golf Course' which, (of Course), is considered Marine Park.
The Area to the South of that, past the Belt Pkwy. is usually considered Jamacia Bay.
