Just looked at the Google photo. Didn't realize Shea's was still there. And it looks pretty good too.

How about Madden's around the corner on Bedford Park
 
It's time for a revisit to the old neighborhood! That was a popular strip at one time. Meaney's on the north corner, The Alibi on the south corner and Shea's in the middle. And then you turn the corner onto Bedford Park Blvd.......so many choices. And to finish up, hit the diner on the north corner of Bedford Park for some breakfast on the way home. Those were the days.
 
I'm sure you remember the preponderance of establishments on 204th St.-Bainbridge Ave. between Webster Ave. & Van Cortlandt Ave.

Oh yeah! And my old Street, E.198 St between the Concourse and Bainbridge Ave, was lined with establishments too.
