It's more of a straight run for 167/87 and once they get by Richmond Avenue the road is 3 or for lanes wide. As FDStatenIsland said, it can be a horror trying to get across "Snake Hill" road.

This is area of SI that needs another firehouse - the SI Mall area. Long runs for companies, no BC close, many commercial buildings (SI Mall), lots of stores, many townhouses and developments that are now 40 years old, no highways, lots of traffic lights, heavy traffic, very slow response across Richmond Hill Road for 165/85 and 159. Should have had a new firehouse 30 years ago with new BC to cover center of SI.
