12/15/2011 Apparatus Accident at Box 3141

70 RD at AUSTIN ST

Safety Batallion was assigned to respond to an apparatus accident around 11:38

Around 11:41  SB returned to Citywide, leaving B 46  as IC.  Did not get who was involved.

11:48  B 46 reports no injuries at scene.  Requests NYPD for a report.

Not exactly around the corner. 305/151 are up on the Blvd. at 75th Ave. There are numerous blocks with Ave./Rd./Dr. and Ascan Ave. between 70 Rd. and where their quarters are. Let's just say "in the neighborhood."

Don't know if this is the same thing but a FDNY Shops Vehicle was involved in a minor MVA at 38th St. & Queens Blvd. around the same time.
