Prior to this fire, Battalion 51 used 2x2 for a stove fire at 116-24 134 Street (Box 8868). E-308 became available from this box and replaced E-315 as the 4th Engine.
In addition to this, there were still units relocated to the 53 battalion due to AH box 6179.
Bn. 54 was the initial chief, however, Battalion 50 was closer and arrived 1st.
