2 engines above fourth.
Shouldn't this go to fifth according to dispatch policies?

According to my 6th edition ops.ref. after all hands only one engine (and one ladder) may be special called.
Any further engines must be obtained by transmitting a second alarm.

I thought this would be the same in all alarm levels, so only one extra or a higher alarm for more.

That chat box on " The Bravest " is getting ridiculous.  I am posting messages and I keep getting logged out due to excessive posts.
So if anyone on here knows of any additional info, ( assignments etc ) please post here as I cant get a post in the chat.
I see you're posting Robert ( rdm ), so no idea why I cant.
Nice YouTube vid of it.

Thanks,  Lewy in England.

G'man the theory was operating today as well.  E287 was occupied somewhere - I think they're normally third due at the Box before E316 - at a minimum the 4th due Engine.

E262 only had one chauffeur and couldn't bring the Planning Vehicle.  They were told to report on the third alarm and that is why E233 brought it later.

Not often you see the Mets (E273) and the Yankees (E68 acting E289) work together at the same fire.

There were several boxes transmitted within 30 minutes before the initial Alarm on this box.  B52 got assigned to a Box in the Bay Terrace area of greater Bayside.  About five minutes later a box two blocks from B52's headquarters (Murray Street and Roosevelt Avenue) came in - E273 and L129 got assigned to another box in downtown Flushing.  B50 came into one of the Flushing boxes.

I think that also explains why E273 didn't get called until the 4th Alarm and L129 was a S/C after that

In addition to the relocations noted in the Ex Chief's rundown I heard some others as well - note this is not a complete list just some additions:

B10/B45
B18/B53
E299/E305
TL158/TL162
E50/E312
L53/L116 -this is what I believe I heard - didn't know The City Island truck ever relocated -perhaps an error!
TL119/L154 - TL160 initially relocated here but was a S/C above the 4th alarm
B44/51

Also Rescue 4 went 10-8 at 11:28
