326 and 160 occupied already? 1 block north of quarters.
No entrance at Springfield Blvd. Typical highway box. units from both sides of Springfield Blvd. Its like 8982 on the Bruckner expwy. It could be right below 89/50 and you could have 96/54 and 66/61. 89/50 have to go up to Buhre Ave to get on the highway south bound

So many odd ball assignments on the NYC highway Boxes......keeping with 1 ENG & 1 LAD coming from opposite directions on opposite sides sometimes results in the closest Unit NOT being assigned...324 right on the LIE is one prime example ....also there is a particular long stretch of the LIE between Woodhaven Blvd & the area of the GCP that if in the Eastbound Lanes the 46 would arrive first & alone for awhile even though 287 / 136 in the same FH were not assigned .

There actually is an entrance to the LIE right about where this occurred, a short distance east of Springfield. There'd be no way for dispatchers to know the exact location of the incident until the companies respond. I was outdoors about a half mile north of this and heard a helicopter hovering for quite a while, but couldn't get there to see what was happening until later. Horace Harding was loaded up with truck traffic trying to get around the bottleneck.
