Does a second Squad Company always respond to a 10-77 2nd alarm?

I don't think so. In this case, SQ-252 became available on the transmission of the 2nd and was assigned to the job replacing 270, but 270 is seen 10-84 in the pics.

Pretty sure I heard 270 told to remain in service, perhaps they were 10-84 and just hung around a bit.
252 was assigned to box 570 and turned around, i'm assuming SQ-1 was assigned as an engine on that box.
