I thought 10-60's were for major transportation accidents with multiple casualties or any emergency (non-fire related) with multiple casualties.

And not for a single worker trapped.

If your not monitoring the boro and just hear a 10-60, it is suppose to let you know of a multi-casualty incident, such as to base ones response on.

Definition of a 10-60 (no code) is:

"Major Emergency Response (e.g. collapse of a private dwelling, derailment of a subway car)."

Definition says nothing about number of casualties.

I stand corrected concerning the definition. However, I thought the reason for establishing the code was to signify that an incident has occurred in which multiple casualties might be/or are involved.
