The run came over for a fire in a store.

Engine 65 from 43rd Street and 6th was 1st due and got in 1st.

Engine 53 was second and Ladder 43 was 1st.  Coming from 3rd Ave and 101st Street

Shows you whats happens when theres a job and a bunch of runs at the sametime.

Last years was better.  Engine 65, Queens Engine ? and Ladder 16 all going to Central Park West and 80something for a 10-77 when they had the 2nd at Mt Sinai Hospital

Any word on the injured members??  As usual the media did not cover the fire and 2 seriously injured firemen mean very little to nyc.

Actually this one's been on pretty much every news channel... http://www.newsday.com/news/local/newyork/ny-nyfire0208,0,6752608.story

I saw some coverage in papers not on the tube, but i watched 11PM news, so thats old news already. Thanks.

Most of the guys that went to the ER were as a result of the new CO monitoring pilot.  Any member with a CO level of over 15% had to go and get checked out.  I was told 10 of the members transported were just for this.
