Not to mention the mess there can be with an incident on the bridge gridlocking the neighborhood.... one of the cons of trying to close 284 year after year. I have only lived down here 2 years but you can see what a mess it would be and can be with closing a company(nevermind a temp relocation) - like when they have the marathon or that 5 boro bike tour as they had about a month ago.. I was at a standstill on the fort hamilton overpass at 278 for 10 minutes as some guys in green jackets tried to direct traffic.
