E58/L26 heard and felt the explosion at their quarters, they were on their rigs and out the door as manhattan dispatch was assigning them to the box. If you listen to the recorded audio prior to the box announcement,  L26 came over the radio requesting dispatch to transmit the box stating they heard the explosion and seen smoke from what appeared to be the metro north line at park ave and e 114 st, once they arrived at 116 st, they urgently transmitted the 10-60 stating building collapse with fire...
 
3-15-14 hrs 0212 hrs relief Units ..LAD*7 & 136 both Soc Support....ENG*8 ....SQ*61 & BN*9.
 
All reported missing accounted for ....still conducting searches for possible visitors....75 % of debris removed.....expect to get to the basement level on Sat. .......Former Pres Clinton on the scene this afternoon to arrange a photo op & then quickly left .....YES... he positioned the EMS Menbers as to where to stand got the shot & left.

  People die and it gives the politicians a chance to pose for pictures. I don't give a damn who they are, I, Willy "D", have absolutely NO USE FOR ANY OF THEM.

  Sorry for getting off track here. Waking up and reading this is like getting up on the wrong side of the bed for me.

Where was that picture Chief? The one I saw in the Daily News this morning was ole' Good Guy Bill with a Lt. from 50 truck and another officer who's helmet I couldn't make out.

Heading south on 11th Ave Saturday evening was passed by L77 going north. ??? Then I realized they must have been going to 1406 as relief.
