Solar panels on fire on roof of a PD

BC22 requesting HM1 and HMB

BC22 reports trucks checking for extension

BC22: Gonna drop it down to a 10-18. Have HM continue in emergency mode

BC22: Can you assign SQ8 to this box for their PVStop

SI to SQ8: BC22 is special calling you for your PVStop they have solar panels on the roof

Probably:
E156, E155, E157
T079, L078

E165HM, HM1, HMB

The dropping down to a 10-18 again. what units were used before signal 10-18?
Do they get credit on the fire report & is it still a 10-18 when Haz-Mat will be used?
I thought 10-18 was a self-explanatory signal? ID units if different ones used, other than 1st due.
Comment’s anyone, in defense of the “dropping down” term or otherwis.
Post for discussion only, not critical . Well maybe a bit.😳

I'm thinking that whenever more that 1 & 1 are assigned on the alarm, "dropping down to 10-18" is being used to indicate that any other units assigned on the alarm are now 10-8 - though "dropping down" seems to indicate more than 1 & 1 were used.
If more than 1 & 1 were being used I would understand "dropping down", but other than that, as you stated "10-18" is self explanatory, no need for "dropping down".

True, the 10-18 automatically signifies than all the other units are 10-8. I would think, concerning one of the previous post//transmission, that it would be, “Using 1 & 1 along with Haz-Mat units assigned.
I even heard an officer give a 10-18 for a 10-92. Again, 10-92 IS the signal giving “work” for the 1st due units.
I wonder what the dispatchers think, because they always say, “10-18 for the box.
Thanks for your comment 8060 rock.
