Large fire breaks out at multi-family home in Sprague

Crews are working to put out a large fire at a two-family home in Sprague Friday night. The Baltic Fire Department said they responded to West Main Street for a reported fire around 7 p.m. It’s unknown if there are any injuries. No additional information was immediately available.

Sprague has a population of only about 3,000 residents.
It is just north of Norwich at its city/town line.

I have owned a duplex house there since 1987 which was only about three blocks from this fire.
One of the apartments is occupied by my brother, a retired Bridgeport F.D. - B/C.

Three communities in the Town of Sprague and none is Sprague. Communities are Baltic, Hanover, and Versailes.
