6th Alarm Transmitted for one brush fire. 2nd Alarm Transmitted for another. At least two or three other smaller brush fires going in SI at the same time. All Hands worth of Brush and an All Hands in Howard Beach. All Hands in Brooklyn. Fallback Step 3 Citywide to conserve companies. Over 60 relocations citywide, with at least 10 of those relocators catching work in SI. Just another day in the office..

I don't have a rundown yet but here are a few relocations, and notice how far some had to travel to get into S.I.: L8 was acting TL87, L11 acting TL85, TL18 acting TL79, E5, E6, E10, L9 & L10 were also on Staten Island. BC50 acting BC23, BC7 acting BC22   I also heard E321 and their brush rig responded and E207 relocated to E284

When you hit a total of 8 alarms on a borough with only 4 alarm's worth of companies, you gotta pull the relocators from somewhere!  ;D

We can NOT forget the "Hero"s Behind the Scene". Those dispatchers must have had their hands full. Those brush fires, relocaters, plus the other so-called normal fire duty traffic going on. My hat is off to you guys too. Nice job keeping track of what was going on in no doubt, the Busiest Fire Dept in the World, on one of their busiest days. And to the Brothers in the Bravest, nice job too. They are one pain in the a** to battle. No L.A. County stuff around here, but no fun either.
