DC13: Have RAC4 continue in normal response.  Also a size-up, we're using All-Hands at this time for a fire on the 2nd floor of a 2 story 20x40 mixed occupancy, the address is 129-18 Liberty Ave.  We have 2 lines stretched, 1 in operation, main body of fire has been knocked down, fire is Probably Will Hold.

CAN SOMEBODY EXPLAIN TO ME WHERE SOUTH RICHMOND HILL QUEENS IS.  I WAS RAISED IN QUEENS AND I ALWAYS KNEW RICHMOND HILL TO BE RICHMOND HILL.  IS IT SOME NEW AREA THAT JUST OPENED UP?  THE 3RD DUE ENGINE IS LOCATED IN RICHMOND HILL SO I IMAGINE THAT IT HAS TO BE QUITE A RUN THEN.

These are designations and nuances you will find on Yahoo maps etc. Richmond Hill is a pretty big area - Richmond Hill High School like Squad 270 is north of Atlantic Avenue but Liberty Avenue and Lefferts Blvd just south of E308 is still Richmond Hill. I remember from my CYO ball days that Holy Child parish and St Benedict Joseph's parish are similarly on different ends of Richmond Hill.  

Richmond Hill is still the same Richmond Hill you know!!

I grew up over there, and the dividing line between Richmond Hill and South Ozone Park was 109 Avenue. I'm not sure what the divider between Richmond Hill and South Richmond Hill is. I do remember the mail cars having SRH on them when they would deliver mail on my block.

That's not really too far of a run for 270. They can come out of Quarters, go down 121 to 103 Avenue or Liberty and hook a left. It's three turns for 308. One out of Quarters, another onto 107 and another up 128, or two turns. One out of Quarters, then a right onto Liberty.
