Fire on the 4th floor of a 7 story 300x200 class 3 MD

E-81 & TL-46 became avail. - 4&3 response.

B-27: Make it a 10-75 - We have charring & sweating pipes on the 4th floor - Checking for extension - 14:25

L-32 FAST

B-27: All Hands - Stretching a line to the 4th floor - 14:28

B-27: Stretching a 2nd line to the top floor as a precaution - 14:30

B-27: Water on the fire - Fire is darkening down - 14:36

B-27: PWH - 14:40

D-7: Under Control - 14:42

Duration: 30 Min.

Maybe:
E-79, 52, 62, 81
L-37, 52, 46, 32F
B-27, 19

*E-81 & TL-46 (initially on a class 3) became avail. & added prior the the 10-75

I cannot tell for sure but from what I understand it is because when a 3rd truck (which in most cases is the normally first or 2nd due truck) gets assigned prior to the 10-75, upon the transmission of the 10-75 it's presumed that all the trucks are already engaged in fire duty, therefore another truck will be assigned for FAST duty, no need for a 5th engine unless the IC special calls one.

At times, if one of the 3 assigned trucks doesn't show 10-84, the dispatcher will assign them FAST
