My thoughts exactly....the old upright "one arm bandit" kerosene heaters were basically eliminated in NYC in the Fifties (but only after many Deaths & serious Fires) ....hopefully it will not take as long to address e bikes.....but then again look how slow education on candles has been.
I agree with what is being said about how dangerous E bikes and scooters are when recharging, and in my opinion they should not be allowed into structures, but the simple fact is the powers to be in City Hall, and around the country, will probably not even consider any type of ban due to the fact these bikes and scooters go along with their green deal agenda (thank you to the likes of Bernie and AOC). They will continue to turn a blind eye to this even as people as getting hurt and killed. Until there is a big change in administration and political thinking it will be hard to change. I'm sorry if this sounds like a political rant, it is not meant to be, but it's what I see and have seen.
