There are several fill in box numbers in BKLYN not in line w/"most" surrounding box numbers...for example 3755 at Evergreen & Greene in Bushwhick...3757 at Varet & White in Williamsburg & 3760 at Eastern Parkway Ext & Somers St on the border of Brownsville & Ocean Hill ....just a few..... also in the 37XX grouping 3758 used to be Cook & Morrel Sts in Williamsburg until the early '60s when the projects wiped out Morrel St then later 3758 became 7 Av 900ft South of 92 St in Bayridge.

During the busy War Years, at times it got so busy that I would just write down the box numbers. I would hang out on Broadway, midway between Williamsburg, Bushwick, Bed Sty, and Brownsville. If I heard Box 3755 or Box 3757 come in, I wouldn't even write it down, thinking that is no where's around this area.
After some 40 plus years as a buff and an FDNY fan, I'm still learning some of the plays of this Major League operation.
