"Fire Wire" had it as brush @ 98 and Jamaica. Had me pondering for a moment as I could not visualize any "brush" at that location except for maybe potted plants in the catering hall. lol
Heavy brush & trees all along & ON the old long abandoned LIRR Tracks also included are some homeless encampments......some dreamers had plans to make the old line into another "Hi Line" type promenade but on ground level...good for a laugh but i doubt it will happen.... the original LIRR line ran from Rockaway to Manhattan....should have kept it running.
Green row of trees running top to bottom of picture is the old train line now after about 60 yrs of non use completely overgrown (the portion of the line intersecting Myrtle Ave was filmed in a segment of Law & Order SVU where a fictional serial killer was dumping bodys along the old overgrown tracks) ........the Manhattan to Rockaway line intersected above the underground portion of the LIRR line running under Atlantic Ave from Jamaica to the Atlantic Terminal in BKLYN.....today this would be a well used line for Barclays Center etc.
