Well Haz Mat 1 is a 2006 Ferrara so i would think expect a few body changes, especially the raised cab. Looking at Ferrara's web site and there Heavy Rescue Apparatus i just hope the new rescue's dont look like that one....

As for Rescue's 1-5 what will happen them? will they go spare/reserve?? what will happen Rescue's 6-7 that are in reserve now???

Has it been stated anywhere that the new rescues will have raised roof crew cabs?  My thinking is they tried that once and didn't like it so they went back to the 2 man cab with the rest of the crew in the back.  The Pierce was also built that way.  I guess time will tell what the design will be.
