E4 10-75 the box we got a heavy smoke condition in the rear dont know what it is if its the building or pier

Pier 17 Commerical 3 Story 320 X 100

B4 we got a good view from up the river id go with a 2nd alarm @ 16:00
B1 fires on the pier we need PD here asap for crowd control 16:01
D1 10-84 smoke is blowing into Manhattan so be ready for calls on it @ 16:05
B1 where using All Hands M6 is hitting the fire. Its a pier fire @ 16:06
M9 on your frequence ETA 40 Minutes @ 16:07
(E5 to manhattan beadvised we got smoke as far as 14th Street youll be getting alot of calls)
D1 Fire on a pier trucks are opening up (saws in background) we have 1 L/S/O give a cold water rescue truck as a fast truck with there suits so we can get divers in the water @16:13

1626hrs- Div. 1 rpts pulling all members away from pier. Hitting the fire with master streams. No special instructions for Air Recon (B-39).

1628hrs- USCG ETA 10 minutes.

1630hrs- Marine 8 being released back to SI by orders of Marine B/C. Marine 8 advising they have divers on thier boat. Marine B/C reassigning them to the box.

1632hrs- Div. 1 rpts Primary (-) in the building.

1633hrs- Field Com. rpts 89 South St. - 320X100 pier. Co's using distributor through pier floor to hit the fire. No plans ATT to put any divers in the water.  D/W/H.

1639hrs- Returning Air Recon.

1648hrs- Field Com rpts (3) units under pier with handlines hitting hot spots. Secondary searches are (-). Prolonged operations. P/W/H.

1730hrs- Fire U/C. Marine 8 covering Marine 1.

to hit the fire. No plans at this time to put divers in the water. Primary searches in the Bldg.
are negative.

Fieldcom 1: ( 3 ) Units under Pier with hand-lines hitting hot spots. Secondary Searches are
complete and negative. This will be a prolonged operation. Probably Will Hold.

On the second alarm there are two satellite units assigned.
