Engines 332, 231   Squad 252  Rescue 2 assigned due to numerous reports of explosion.

@1446: 10-75-3966 by Ladder 103 for fire on the 4th floor of a fireproof.  Div. 15 assigned, Batt. 39.

@1448: Receiving apartments 8D and 7B and reports of fire on the 4th and 7th floors.

@1450: Receiving apartment 7E.

@1452: Div. 15: 75-3966: using all hands, special call extra engine and truck.  Engine 283 and Tower Ladder 120 s/c.  RAC 2 assigned

@1457: Div. 15: Deputy Chief Jakubowski reports fire on the 6th floor of a 14 story brick OMD, 150 x 100, two lines stretched, one line in operation, fire is doubtful.

@1459: Div. 15: fire apartment is 8D, fire is darkening down, water on the fire.  Fire is on the 8th floor, primary searches are being conducted.

@1500: Div. 15 reports primary search of the fire apartment is complete and negative, Apartments 7B and 7E have checked out, occupants self-evacuated.

@1503: Div. 15: Attack stairway is A; primary search in the hallway is negative.

@1503: Ladder 112 acting Ladder 103 is 10-8.

@1505: RAC 2 is 10-84.  Tower Ladder 153 acting Tower Ladder 170 is 10-8.

@1507: Engine 249 acting Engine 257 is 10-8.

@1510: Ladder 143 acting Ladder 175 is 10-8.

@1511: Engine 281 acting Engine 290 is 10-8.

@1512: Div. 15: DC Jakubowski reports two lines stretched with one in operation, secondary searches underway, probably will hold.

@1514: Squad 252 is 10-8 from 3966.

@1515: Div. 15: DC Jakubowski reports fire under control; primary and secondary searches are negative throughout.

@1516: Div. 15 will be 10-8; Batt. 58 is the IC.
