8/19/26 Queens 10-75 Box 4995

Is it just me or did there seem to be a lot of civilians taking pictures or video or just driving through a pretty serious situation? This overturned GASOLINE tanker on a warm summer day could have potentially found an ignition source and made this incident much worse than it was.
 
Did you see the video with the truck driver (I guess it was the driver) climbing in and out of the truck cab while the fuel was gushing out of the tank right behind him? I don't know what the fuel was . . . I've seen gasoline and diesel. Of course diesel is much less likely to flash . . . but it's no picnic to deal with either one.
 
Second time in recent weeks that Nassau and FDNY companies are working together on the same box. Rare but nice to see. Was the 47 Batt unavailable?
