22-138 133,135,137,141 & 145 W Broadway a major water main break has flooded all of these locations.

What would be a typical FDNY response to a water main?

It depends on the calls received I think.  I recall another large break a few months back that went to an All-Hands, came in as a signal-7 with special call for the Battalion due to amount of calls.

According to WPIX News, the FDNY response was the equivalent of a second alarm response.

The following apparatus I was able to hear that were on scene were.
Batt 2 and TL 1  orginally sent in
L8,L10,E7,E10 when the box got filled out
All-hands=E55,E24,L20(FAST),SQ18,R1,RAC1,Batt 1 and Div 1
Special Call=TSU 1 and TSU 2, SOC Dewatering Unit,L5
OEM,DEP,DOT, and Transit all requested.

They special called 4 & 4 for relief just before the 2nd alarm.
