9/16/10 -- Major Storm Damage/Possible Tornado

John (turk132), I think that is FDNY A.U.C. # 138 on the Fire Control teams. I sure wish that I could remember some of the details instead of the AUC number. But I'm guessing that you're right and they just changed the term to Task Forces.

What about the reserve engines? Did any of those get activated in this situation?

I live in Park Slope...and its a mess!!!! Trees down everywhere, the BQE had 3 tractor Trailers that flipped on their side...Its nuts outside!

Did I read right, Engine 70 responding into Queens?
I believe it was E73 which can sound engine sevent-y instead of seven three during heavy radio traffic. I heard Engines 71, 73, 83 acting E305 and Ladders 14 & 50, L55 acting 136 and TL107 acting TL162 among the units in Queens.
