A domestic dispute turned into a working structure fire at 10 Meadowbrook Lane in Mystic, CT. Stonington PD responded to a domestic dispute and found a female suffering severe lacerations resulting from a stabbing. Quiambaug FD was dispatched as an R-1 responder along with Mystic River Ambulance. While the female was being attended to, a male dove out a second floor window as the home was enveloped in fire. A full response from Quiambaug was called along with mutual aid from Stonington Borough and Mystic FDs. Old Mystic FD responded as the FAST team. Heavy fire was on the second floor of the 2 1/2 story wood frame dwelling with extention into the attic and through the roof. Stonington PD, CT State Police, and the local fire marshal are investgating.
