Sad to see at the end of the boating season, but there are reasons inboards come festooned with warnings about running blowers and not refueling a hot engine.

Hopefully the injury is minor.

From the FDNY Facebook page:

"Tuesday afternoon, FDNY Marine 4 was notified of a reported explosion and fire at the City Island fuel dock. Marine 4, along with land Fire and EMS companies, began responding and observed a large column of smoke. Marine 4 arrived on scene and observed a 38’ cabin cruiser fully involved in fire but still attached to the dock. Marine 4 positioned upwind and began extinguishing the fire using the bow monitor. Marine 4 then used a grappling hook to move the vessel away from the fuel dock, and prevented the fire from spreading, and ultimately protecting the fuel dock."
