Anything is possible with a large enough bank account. There’s a channel on YouTube where a kid (he’s gotta be in his early 20’s) has put tracks on a lot of things.
 
If im not mistaken, doesnt the antartic fire department have tracks on some of their vehicles? obviously not a big engine like as shown but more of a f350 brush type rig
A department in California has also done it...
 
There have been fire apparatus with tracks, Philadelphia FD had one years ago, I have a picture of it somewhere. After World War II alot of Half tack were available on the used Military Market. Some half tacks were used for Brush/Forest Fire work, some for Tow trucks in remote areas, and to Plow Snow (In Maine in the 1950s for sure) Captain Bob Rainey FDNY Engine 26 retired
