Estimated 32 people displaced in SW Houston apartment fire
An estimated 32 people have been displaced by a fire at a southwest Houston apartment complex Saturday.

This is a nasty few blocks in Southwest Houston. It's in Engine 82's still district and EMS and/or the cops are always there. Several years ago one of 82's Captain told me they had a guy who would torch dumpsters in the middle of the night in those apartments. Then, he would light up members with a laser pointer.
Literally across a drainage ditch to the west on Bellfort Ave. is the eastern boundary of the Southwest Houston Eruv. On Sabbath, you'd think you were in Borough Park.
